HP Jetdirect print servers - HP Install Network Printer Wizard discontinued

Step one: Install the HP Jetdirect print server

To install the Jetdirect print server, use one of the following methods depending on the Jetdirect model.
  • Configure a single HP Jetdirect print server using the Jetdirect EWS, printer control panel, or telnet
  • Configure multiple HP Jetdirect print servers at the same time using HP Web Jetadmin
For instructions, download the Setup Guide and Jetdirect Administrators Guide:
  1. Go to www.hp.com/support and select the country/language.
  2. Click Troubleshooting.
  3. Type the Jetdirect accessory name or model number into the Find my product search field and click Go.
  4. Select the model.
  5. Click Manuals.
  6. Select the manual type or click view all.

Step two: Install the HP printer driver

After finishing the installation steps for the Jetdirect print server, download the latest printer driver:
  1. Go to www.hp.com/support and select the country/language.
  2. Click Drivers & Downloads.
  3. Type the printer name or number into the Find my product search field and click Go.
  4. Select the model.
  5. Select the operating system.
  6. Find the software under the Downloads section and click Download.
