This 3-day instructor-led training course introduces the student to the HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array data replication environment. That environment includes both local replication (Business Copy Enterprise Virtual Array [BC EVA]) and remote replication (Continuous Access Enterprise Virtual Array) solutions. The focus of this course, however, is the remote replication capability represented by Continuous Access EVA. Also discussed is the Replication Solutions Manager (RSM) software application. |

Students will also learn about replication solutions available for the XP. This version uses updated releases of Command View XP Advanced Edition and Performance Advisor.

This course describes Business Copy and Continuous Access concepts, planning and installation, and operations. The course also provides instructions on how to fail over and manage Continuous Access EVA using the Replication Solutions Manager interface and Command View EVA. Continuous Access EVA extended configurations, best practices, and troubleshooting complete the course materials. |
