Information is also provided on diagnostic indicators and on troubleshooting. After completing this course, you should be able to set up, configure, and support HP Remote Graphics Software Sender and HP Remote Graphics Software Receiver. You should also be able to discuss the performance of the software with customers and know how to escalate a call when necessary.
 

» Virtual Connect for HP BladeSystem

This 2-day instructor led training course covers how Virtual Connect integrates with c_Class blade technologies. It covers the integration and use of Virtual connect (VC) Ethernet and Fiber Channel technology. Students will install and configure the Virtual Connect Ethernet and Virtual Connect Fiber channel modules. Each topic will involve lab scenarios that will reflect real-world scenarios for network connectivity.

» VMware Infrastructure 3: Overview

This 1-day hands-on training course provides a brief introduction to the operations-level of VMware Infrastructure 3. The architecture consists of VMware ESX Server and VirtualCenter. ESX server enables the sharing of physical resources among the virtual machines it hosts. VirtualCenter is used to manage multiple ESX servers in the virtual infrastructure environment and offers advanced features such as VMotion. This course is 60% lecture and 40% hands-on lab.

In this 3-day course, students will learn how to successfully deploy and manage HP BladeSystem servers. A brief architecture overview will ensure students understand the components of the HP Bladesystem solutions. The system administration components will provide coverage of IP networking, HP Onboard Administrator, HP Virtual Connect and network storage. The course then focuses on the HP BladeSystem c-Class and p-Class server deployment and management using the software applications and tools from Insight Control Environment.

Troubleshooting guidance, best practices and lab exercises are interspersed throughout the course. This course is 50% lecture and 50% hands-on lab.

The course also includes an overview of the BladeSystem c-Class server and storage blades and an overview of the tools and solutions applicable to the c-Class.
