Students will use their existing theoretical WAN/LAN knowledge to complete hands-on activities. Course topics include: features of the 3Com routing and switching families, competitive advantages between 3Com and Cisco product line-up, and differences between 3Com and Cisco routing and switching implementations. |

implement ProCurve’s Network Immunity Solutions (NIS) to protect their network through configuring and troubleshooting ProCurve’s Network Immunity Manager both as a standalone threat detection and threat mitigation solution and as a combined solution with a third-party Intrusion Detection System (IDS). |

The ProCurve ASE Boot Camp was created in order to meet a need for ProCurve partner and reseller network engineers who:
- Possess strong, working knowledge of networking solutions
- Are typically familiar with networking products, but not as familiar with all ProCurve products & solutions, especially high-end products (ProCurve 8212zl, 5400zl, 5300xl, 3500yl, 3400cl and 6400cl series, wireless and security solutions)
- Cannot spend the time required to attend all regular ProCurve Certified Professional trainings
