HP Indigo 3550/5500 Digital Press; Service and Repair for New Service Engineers training is a beginning class for newly hired field technicians who have no previous training on Indigo Digital Printing Presses. The course focuses on the operation, maintenance, and servicing of the mechanical, electronic, fluid and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo 3550/5500 Digital Press. Participants will be taught how to apply maintenance skills to resolve problems.

 

» HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press; Service and Repair and HP Indigo 7000 Troubleshooting Methodologies for 7000 Service Engineers

The HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press; Service and Repair course is for field technicians who have previous experience on the HP Indigo Press 7000 printing press. The course covers the differences between the maintenance, and servicing of the mechanical, electronic, fluids, and substrate transport systems of the HP Indigo 7000 Digital Press and the HP Indigo 7500 Digital Press.

» HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press; Service and Repair for Service Engineers

The HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press; Service and Repair course is for field technicians who have previous experience on the HP Indigo WS4xxx Digital Press.

The course covers the maintenance and servicing of the mechanical, electronic, internal networking systems, digital controller theory and programming, touch screens theory and programming, substrate transport of the HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press. The focus is on the differences between the HP Indigo WS4xxx Digital Press technology and the HP Indigo WS6000 Digital Press.

 

» HP Indigo 3000/3050 Digital Press; Service and Repair for Shared Maintenance Trained Operators

This level 3 course is a service level maintenance and repair training program for shared maintenance operators, and is a hands-on course. The course focuses on the interaction and function of the mechanical, electronic, fluid, imaging and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo 3000/3050 Digital Press. Participants will learn how to apply theoretical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting, and maintenance skills to resolve problems, install software patches and implement hardware Field Change Orders (FCO). The course will introduce more advanced topics, and review the important fundamental adjustments within the press.

 

» HP Indigo Front End Tools for HP SmartStream Production Pro Print Server

This course provides the knowledge necessary to operate and manage the HP SmartStream Production Pro Print Server. This includes system setup and administration, job management and submission, modifying press job properties, and creating and using job tickets. The second half of the class the operator will learn to use all the features and capabilities HP’s Smart Stream Designer to create static and variable data fully imposed jobs. The course provides structured hands on exercises, allowing the operator to practice and reinforce key concepts.

 

» HP Indigo 7000/7500 Digital Press; Press Operation for Experienced HP Indigo Operators

The HP Indigo 7000/7500 Digital Press Operation for Experienced HP Indigo Operator course focuses on the concepts, procedures, and practices required to operate the press safely and effectively. This class builds on the experience of current HP Indigo Press Operators focusing on those areas of operation that are unique to the HP Indigo 7000/7500 Digital Press. Topics covered include operator routines, safety precautions, care and preventive maintenance, paper transport, handling of supplies, control of color, maintenance of the press, and troubleshooting common operator level printing problems using built-in troubleshooting tools.

Topics covered include operation of press and DFE station, operator routines, safety precautions, care and preventive maintenance, paper transport, handling of supplies, control of color, maintenance of the press, and troubleshooting common operator level printing problems using built-in troubleshooting tools.

 

» WS4xxx, Using HP Indigo Labels & Packaging Tools Powered by EskoArtwork

This 5-day course provides prepress professionals with the knowledge and skills to build and load jobs to an HP Indigo Digital Press. This will include a focus on using HP Indigo Labels & Packaging Prepress Tools Powered by EskoArtwork. Topics covered will relate to common Prepress needs of the Industrial market place; Spot colors, Indichrome, imposition and Barcode job options. During the second half of the class the focus will shift to the HP Indigo Labels and Packaging Color Kit powered by EskoArtwork. This will include using the profiling tool to profile the press, instruction on dealing with special colors, and creating bundles of color management specifications called Color Strategies to support an automated workflow. Finally, the Variable Data tools will be introduced with a focus on Sequential numbering and variable barcode file submittal.

The course provides 40 percent lecture and 60 percent hands-on.

This course provides prepress professionals with the knowledge and skills to submit jobs to an HP Indigo Digital Press 3500, 5000, or 5500. The main focus is the HP Indigo Tool; SmartStream Designer. The course is 40 percent lecture and 60 percent hands-on.
 

» HP Indigo Front End Tools for PrePress, SmartStream Designer for Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress – S2000/WS2000/WS4xxx

This course provides prepress professionals with the knowledge and skills to build and load jobs to an HP Indigo S2000/WS2000/WS4xxx Digital Press. The course provides 40 percent lecture and 60 percent hands-on. Topics covered will relate to the Industrial market place.
 

» HP Indigo WS4000/4050/4500 Service and Repair for Shared Maintenance Trained Operators

This course is a service level maintenance & repair training program for shared maintenance operators, and is a hands on course. The course focuses on the operation, interaction and theory of function of the mechanical, electronic, process, pneumatic, fluid, heat transfer, PLC, motion control and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo press WS4XXX. Participants will learn how to apply theoretical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance skills to resolve problems, install SW patches and implement hardware field change orders.
 

» HP Indigo Press 3050 Service and Repair for 5xxx Service Engineers

This service and repair course is for Customer Engineer (CE) who will be required to service the HP3050, and have service level experience on the hp indigo press 5000. The CE support training program is a hands on course. The course focuses on the operation and interaction of the mechanical, electronic, fluid and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo press. Participants will be taught theoretical and practical material and how to apply maintenance skills to resolve problems.

This course provides prepress professionals with the knowledge and skills to submit jobs to an HP Indigo Digital Press with the on-board HP Indigo RIP. The main focus is the HP Indigo tool, Yours Truly Designer, an Adobe InDesign CS2 plug-in. The 3-day course is 40 percent lecture and 60 percent hands-on.

» HP Indigo 3550/5500 Digital Press; Shared Maintenance

The Level 2 Shared Maintenance training program focuses on the operation and interaction of the mechanical, electronic, fluid and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo 5500 Digital Press. Participants will be taught how to apply maintenance skills to resolve problems. This includes preventative and/or corrective actions.

» HP Output Server certification I

This course instructs participants on how to maintain an HP Output Server installation.

» HPOS advanced system administration training

This course instructs participants on how to maintain an HP Output Server installation. Daily labs and troubleshooting scenarios give administrators invaluable hands on experience and practice. The Certified HP Administrator test is given at the end of this course. A score of 80% or better must be achieved before receiving Certified HP Administrator status.

» HPOS operator customer-site training

This course assumes no prior knowledge of HP products. Topics focus on how to perform certain activities, rather than internal troubleshooting. Participants will learn how to operate the HP Output Server and carry out typical activities.
