Course overview

This 4 day, hands-on training course explores VMware ESX server virtual infrastructure software for consolidating and partitioning servers in high-performance environments. This course covers the use of the product both itself and also in conjunction with VMware VirtualCenter, virtual infrastructure management software. The course is 50 percent lecture and 50 percent labs.


Prerequisites

  • System administration experience on Microsoft Windows (2003, XP, 2000, or NT 4.0) or Linux

Audience

  • This course is designed for system administrators and systems engineers who are responsible for the integration, administration and management of ESX server. The course is suitable for both users of VMware VirtualCenter and ESX server administrators
