HP Color LaserJet 9xxx MFP Service and Support

Special note

Service Qualification:

This course helps service professionals prepare for HP Service Qualification which is required for warranty labor reimbursements and service partner program entitlements. APS- LaserJet certification is required in addition to product-specific requirements. Access to Service Qualification plans including requirements, exams and training is available here

Service Qualification on the HP LaserJet 9500 MFP requires completion of the hands-on LaserJet 9500 printer class plus completion of the 9XXX MFP Service Qualification which requires hands-on training.

Service Qualification on the HP LaserJet 9000/40/50 MFP requires completion of hands-on training or the web exam for the 9000 printer plus completion of the 9XXX MFP Service Qualification which includes hands-on training.

NOTE: Students attending the 3-day HP LaserJet 9000/40/50 and 9000/40/50 MFP course must only complete the 3-day LaserJet 9500 printer class to satisfy the requirements for LaserJet 9500 MFP Service Qualification. In addition, students completing the one-day LaserJet 9XXX MFP class have the option of taking an on-line exam in order to satisfy the requirements for LaserJet 9000/40/50 Service Qualification. Service Qualifications earned by attending HP LaserJet University classes apply toward the printer requirements.

Course overview

This instructor-led course provides a wide range of skills and knowledge and provides hands on experience for disassembly and assembly, calibration, usage and troubleshooting tips and tricks. The class covers the MFP hardware that is bundled with the HP LaserJet 9000 and the LaserJet Color 9500 to create the MFP versions of the product.  This class covers ONLY the MFP hardware and not the LaserJet 9000/40/50 or LaserJet 9500 printers.

• Imaging and Printing Fundamentals Master Course
• LaserJet Fundamentals Master Course
• Note: APS – LaserJet certification  provides skill validation on the fundamentals and is mandatory for Service Qualification on LaserJet products
