This course is designed to give the customer support engineer hands-on in-depth exposure to the ws3250. This 5 day class will build on the skills acquired in the ws4000 service class and provide additional technical skills allowing the customer support engineer to effectively support the ws3250
This course is divided into two sessions. The first session will be in the classroom where fundamental concepts will be learned and the second session will be actual hands-on experience. The course will maximize hands-on experience and classroom sessions will also be conducted at the ws3250.
Prerequisites
Strongly recommend that the student attending this course has the following credentials. The course will be delivered under the assumptions that the students have attained the follow level of knowledge.
Ws4000 training.
Proficiency in reading electrical diagrams.
Proficient using a DVM.
Knowledge of Unidrive programming.
PLC programming.
Operation of touch screens.
Scaling adjustment.
TDP(top dead point) + second pressure adjustment.

By completion the completion of this course the student should be able to:
Discuss the differences between the ws4000 and ws3250.
Demonstrate the two methods to thread the ws3250 web system.
Draw a block diagram of ws3250 electrical system layout .
Acquire the skills and knowledge to troubleshoot electrical problems.
Troubleshoot advanced interlock problems.
Discuss the function of variable speed vacuum drives.
Acquire the knowledge to perform system web handling calibrations.
Acquire the knowledge to calibrate the encoder.
Discuss system synchronization.
Remove and replace the turnbar assembly.
Describe overall pneumatic system.
Remove, replace and adjust the feed and exit unit in Print Engine 1 and 2.
Remove, replace and adjust Print Engine 2 vacuum boxes.
Discuss the function and use of the turnbar touch screen.
