Course overview

In this 2-day course you will learn how to use the Enterprise Toolkit (ETK) to build applications for both the Open System Services (OSS) and Guardian environments of the HP NonStop Kernel operating system, including programs with embedded SQL statements. "Build" means code, compile, link and deploy onto the NonStop server.

Users new to the NonStop server application development environment will benefit from learning how to exploit the compiler features. You will learn to use Visual Inspect (VI) to debug programs from the desktop.

Hands-on labs are used at various points to provide reinforcement of the lecture material. This course is intended for developers who will be creating applications for, or porting applications to, a NonStop server.
