Course overview

This 5 day lecture/lab course describes in detail how to plan, install, configure, test, and troubleshoot the hardware and software components for TruCluster Server on HPTru64 UNIX systems. It shows how to set up available services, how to monitor the cluster, and how to write action scripts. It includes both the Memory Channel and LAN cluster interconnect, supported in v5.1A.


Prerequisites

  • Ability to install and manage an HP Tru64 UNIX system, layered products and PAKs
  • Ability to troubleshoot the operating system and make adjustments to improve performance
  • Ability to connect to a TCP/IP network and understand subnetworking concepts
  • Ability to configure distributed network services, Network File System, LSM and RAID storage
