Course overview

This course is designed for individuals with experience managing a UNIX system other than HP Tru64 UNIX in a network. It is very fast paced and discusses the differences and unique qualities of Tru64 UNIX when compared to other UNIX systems in the areas of system and network management. It helps a UNIX knowledgeable person prepare for HP Tru64 UNIX certification. Examples are based on the HP Tru64 v5.1 and v5.1A operating system.


Prerequisites

To get the most from this course, the prospective student should have at least 3-5 years of UNIX system administration experience in a production environment. She/he would be well versed in "day-to-day" administrative duties, and is ready to take on a faster pace. This course is not for new or junior administrators, it is designed for the mind to senior level administrators who are preparing for the HP Tru64 UNIX certification tests.
