Students must have successfully earned the ITIL Foundations Certification prior to taking the ITIL Service Managers exams.
The exam institute administering this exam has strict registration deadlines. Students must register at least 4 weeks prior to exam date.
Course overview
The Manager's Certificate in IT Service Management is awarded upon passing the in-course assessment and passing the Service Support Exam and the Service Delivery Exam. Each exam is 3 hours long and covers the following:
Analyzing ITSM processes within an organization
Designing organizational structure
Describing IT Service Management processes
Assessing and auditing IT Service Management processes
Implementing change processes
Written reports
Management skills
An in-course assessment is also conducted to test the examinee's management skills.
Prerequisites
Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
Manager’s course in IT Service Management: Service Support (U8687S) or equivalent
Manager’s course in IT Service Management: Service Delivery (U8688S) or equivalent
ITIL service manager two day exam preparation (U2800aae or H8990S) is highly recommended to prepare for the exam
