Course overview

This 3-day course provides students with the knowledge of how Data Protector integrates with Microsoft technologies such as Exchange, SQL, the Volume Shadow Copy Service, and SharePoint. The hands-on labs provide real-world data recovery scenarios for each of the Microsoft technologies presented.


Prerequisites

  • Completion of Data Protector Fundamentals (U1610S) (or equivalent knowledge)
  • Basic Windows Server 2000/2003 knowledge
  • It is helpful, but not required to have hands-on experience with earlier listed Microsoft Products

  • Storage and system administrators using HP Software Storage Data Protector version 6 and utilizing Microsoft technologies within their organization
