Course overview

This course prepares you to install, use and troubleshoot a Virtual Tape Server (VTS). Topics include the subsystem architecture, installation and cabling of the VTS system, differentiation of key processes, server approaching, software administration, cartridge creation, export and import, and basic troubleshooting. This 3-day course is 70 percent lecture and 30 percent hands-on labs using a VTS system and HP servers.

    • External storage: one HP XP and/or EVA
