Course overview

The HP Designjet L65500 Basic Service and Repair course is an extensive introduction to the HP Designjet L65500 machine and provides the basic knowledge to support its users. The course exposes the engineer to the installation process and the machine's various systems and deepens his/her understanding of them. It also covers the machine's main features, different components and how to repair them along with the proper way of operation. Included with the printer operation we also expose the Customer Engineer to the internal HP software required to operate the printer. Finally, it prepares the engineer for supporting customers and dealing with common problems they are facing. The course is based on theoretical and practical sessions.

Prerequisites

  • English comprehension at a technical level required for comprehending the course materials
  • Familiarity with industry workflows and production techniques
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux
  • 6 Months of real field experience.
  • Basic Electrical Safety knowledge and troubleshooting (Ability to use a multi-meter)
  • Experience working with low voltage equipment (220V)
  • Experience with electrical schematics and symbols.
  • Computer networking basics
