Course overview

The HP Scitex FB500/FB700 Basic Printer Operation provides the basic knowledge to operate the HP Scitex FB500/FB700. The course introduces the operator to the HP Scitex FB500/700 printer, its main systems, features, components and operation. It enables the customer to get better familiarized with the printer, and focuses on its proper operation and maintenance. The course also provides knowledge for handling common problems and for maintaining best performance. The course is based on theoretical and practical sessions.

The Basic Operator Training offers limited RIP training including a basic overview of Caldera and Onyx RIP software. For advanced RIP features and color management training, please see the “NEXT STEPS” section below.

Prerequisites

• English comprehension required for comprehending the course materials
• A working knowledge of digital inkjet printing is preferred although not required

• Training is structured for individuals who are assigned to operate the HP Scitex FB500/FB700
