Course overview

The HP Scitex XP Machines Application/Advanced Service and Repair course covers advanced issues not included in the XP basic courses. It provides in-depth knowledge of a few selected topics, which are known to be the most problematic in the field. The course unites both 3M and 5M XP machines, focusing on their mechanics, UV and Motion systems. Training is performed using a few working stations allowing all participants to practice each process taught. The training is also designed to provide experienced engineers with additional tools and knowledge on basic application issues.


Prerequisites

  • English comprehension at a technical level required for comprehending the course materials
  • Level 2 engineers
  • Completion of both XP machines basic trainings
  • Performance of at least 1-2 installations and 3-5 service calls on either XP machines prior to training
  • Capability and knowledge to deal with the machine’s quality problems
  • Mandatory: Completion of the RIP Application Training CBT

  • Experienced Service Engineers and Product Specialists – Level 2
