Course overview

The HP Scitex FB7500 Application Training for Application Engineers course is an introduction to the applicative side of the FB7500 and is designed to provide Application Engineers with more in-depth knowledge of the FB7500 applications. The course focuses on two applications: Onyx and Caldera and deals with advanced application issues such as profiles, color management and more, allowing hands-on practice.

Prerequisites

• Experience of installations and service calls on the machine
• Previous experience on flatbed equipment
• Previous experience on high-end POP machines

• Comprehensive RIPS and Workflow
• ONYX: Ripping Files for Printing, Pre-flight, Media Manager, Installation and Settings
• Caldera: Ripping Files, Creating Medias, Installation and Settings
• Hands-on Practice on both RIPS including the Creation of Media Calibration and Using Different RIPS for Different Platforms
• Color Workshop and Hands-on for Caldera and ONYX
