HP Blade PCs and Blade Workstations are Remote Client Solutions that provide end users with fully functional and personalized desktops delivered via a connection to a blade in a centralized data center.
Even though it is remotely located, each end user is given a dedicated blade to help ensure they each get the consistent performance they need. End users can access their personalized environments, applications, and data from almost anywhere they can connect to their network.
This instructor led course provides a technical experience of the HP Blade PC and Blade Workstation end-to-end solutions, including the PC and Workstation blade hardware, the client devices to connect to the blade, the enclosure infrastructure, and the accompanying software such as HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS) and HP Session Allocation Manager (SAM). This course consists of two parts:
HP Blade PC—Workstation Essentials Part 1 (HG817S 2 day course) consists of two full days of live online training on the solution, and is held in the HP Virtual Rooms with a lecture only delivery format.
The 5 days instructor-led HG818S HP Blade PC-Workstation Essentials Part II (this course) consists of extensive hands-on labs that provide practice installing, configuring, and using the solutions. Part II gives students more technical detail and an opportunity to apply the concepts and knowledge presented during Part 1. In addition to implementing a demo-level solution of all components, we discuss higher-end alternatives at every step. |
