Course overview
This 5-day course provides the knowledge necessary to operate and manage the HP SmartStream Production Pro Print Server. This includes system setup and administration, job management and submission, modifying press job properties, and creating and using job tickets. The operator will learn to use all the features and capabilities HP’s Smart Stream Designer to create static and variable data fully imposed jobs. The course provides structured hands on exercises, allowing the operator to practice and reinforce key concepts.
Prerequisites
Minimum of 1 year digital prepress experience Macintosh or PC
If applicable a working knowledge of the Adobe CS suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat
If applicable a working knowledge of Quark 7.x
