The level 3 course is a service level maintenance and repair training program for shared maintenance operators, and is a hands-on course. The course focuses on the interaction and function of the mechanical, electronic, fluid, imaging and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo Press 5500. Participants will learn how to apply theoretical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting, and maintenance skills to resolve problems, install SW patches and implement hardware FCO’s (field change orders). The course will introduce more advanced topics, and review the important fundamental adjustments within the press.
Prerequisites
A person who meets requirements for the FSE Level course has a background of:
Has successfully completed HP Indigo Press 5500 Shared Maintenance training program: HF314S
A minimum of four months experience the HP Indigo Press 5500 is preferred
Knowledge of electrical and electronics, system schematics and PC/ Windows
Has good mechanical repair skills

Qualified HP Indigo Digital Press Shared Customers who will be required to perform service routines that include repair, troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance on the HP Indigo press 5500.
