Course overview

This two-day, hands-on class covers HP PolyServe Matrix Server for Linux in great detail and includes lab time focused on product installation, administration, troubleshooting and our Utility solutions. This version of the course is newly updated for version 3.7 of the product.


Prerequisites

The following is assumed:
  • Rudimentary knowledge of clustering technologies
  • A working knowledge of SAN technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux OS administration
  • A working knowledge of the Apache web server, NFS and Oracle 9i, 10G and RAC

Audience

  • System administrators responsible for the configuration and day-to-day management of the PolyServe Matrix Server shared data clustering software
