Course overview

The FSE support-training program is a hands on course. The course focuses on the operation and interaction of the mechanical, electronic, fluid and substrate transport systems on the HP Indigo press. Participants will be taught theoretical and practical material and how to apply maintenance skills to resolve problems. This will include preventative and corrective actions, extensive troubleshooting skills and specific know-how’s.


Prerequisites

A person who meets requirements FSE course has a background of

  • Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on complex electromechanical devices
  • Has experience using electronic test equipment
  • Has successfully completed the Series II New Hire Course for the HP Indigo presses

Audience

  • Qualified HP Indigo digital press CEs who will be required to perform service routines that include repair, troubleshooting, corrective maintenance and preventative maintenance on the Series I press

Course objectives

At the completion of this course, you will be able to:

  • Understand of operation and interaction the major subassemblies
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic problems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic sub systems
  • Work with technical support specialists to solve complex problems
  • Properly observe safety precautions to diagnose problems and perform repairs
  • Be able to perform mandatory preventive maintenance functions at prescribed intervals
  • Perform a system back-up and full software installation
  • Perform installations and FCO's as required
  • Instruct  customers in better usage of  HP Presses
