Course overview

This course gives administrators new to HP Storage Essentials the necessary skills to be able to effectively monitor and manage their storage resources. Students are introduced to using, configuring and administering Storage Essentials in a networked storage and server environment. The course covers both the Standard and Enterprise Editions of the HP Storage Essentials software. Students will experience Storage Essentials integrated with HPSIM. The course will provide hands-on labs for topics presented.


Prerequisites

The following course is required:

  • SAN Fundamentals Web Based Training (U5527AAE)

The following courses are recommended:

  • Accelerated SAN Essentials (UC434S) Managing HP StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (U4879S) or (UC420S)
  • Introduction to HP SIM Web Based Training (U8695AAE)
  • Enterprise Systems Management using HP SIM (U8474S)
