Course overview

This course offers practical techniques on how you can implement availability management in an organization. It teaches the skills you need to provide reliability, maintainability, and serviceability within an IT department. The course is 75 percent lecture and 25 percent hands-on.


Prerequisites

  • ITIL foundation for IT Service Management with Control IT (H9015X) or ITIL essentials (H1846S)
  • Passing performance on the exam for Foundation Certificate in IT service management
  • Experience working with availability management
  • Experience in an IT department with computer systems and networks or with business process re-engineering.

Audience

  • IT professionals responsible for managing and executing the tasks of availability management
  • Managers and executives who are responsible for the delivery of IT services
