A $3 million multi-year public/private partnership between HP and the Fifth Ward Community Redevelopment Corporation (FWCRC) in Houston provides residents with technology and training targeted to fostering economic development, improving education and enhancing quality of life.

Known as the Fifth Ward/HP i-community, the project was designed to use technology to encourage economic growth in the Fifth Ward while also closing the gap on the digital divide in this community that has been slow to take advantage of computer technology.

Fifth Ward CRC received funds, equipment and services from HP and its partners.
