The HP Microenterprise Acceleration Program (MAP) focuses on providing microenterprises with access to technology and training in how they can apply information and communications technology to better grow and manager their businesses. To accomplish this, HP partners with local training and business development service providers who are already working with microenterprises in their communities.

HP provides contributions of equipment, funding, services, and support to local service providers to establish HP MAP centers. The equipment contributions are based on a thorough technology assessment of the local service providers and the selection of a unique technology solution to meet their specific needs.  These HP MAP centers enhance the services local service providers can provide to microenterprises by expanding access to technology and training.

In addition, HP provides local training and business development service providers an innovative, experiential-based training curriculum that helps entrepreneurs learn valuable information and communication technology skills while applying technology to solve business problems.
