Over the last several years HP has engaged with non-profit organizations and communities around the globe to learn how information and communications technology tools and training can transform the lives of people in both rural and urban communities.
HP’s experience has proved that information and communications technology can contribute significantly to solving the greatest challenges facing microenterprises – lack of skills, low productivity and poor competitiveness, resulting in sustainable positive economic impact on their communities.
MAP is the result of what HP has learned from those communities and from HP’s commitment to collaborate with non-profit organizations in underserved communities to transform people’s lives through the application of information and communications technology.
