All pages scanned from the flatbed glass Picture of the flatbed glass. print with random spots. Every page has spots in the same place.

Most likely causes

Flatbed Glass and Bottom of the Scanner Lid

Troubleshooting and suggestions

  1. If the copy of the test page shows random spots as illustrated above, clean the flatbed glass Picture of the flatbed glass.. Show me how.
  2. Open the scanner lid and use the flatbed glass Picture of the flatbed glass. to make another copy of a white test page. Show me how.
  3. Repeat step 1 and 2 above.
  4. If after repeating step 1 and 2 above, the issue is still not resolved, Contact HP.
