Description
Printed paper is creased.

 Most likely causes
  • Printing on thin paper under high temperature and high humidity environment.
  • Printing on paper which is left for long time at high temperature and high humidity environment.
  • The issue is due to the curling or waving of the paper when the paper goes into the fixing unit.
 Troubleshooting and suggestions
  • Use fresh unpacked paper.
  • Use 75g/m² or heavier paper. Paper weight is specified in the ream label, which is typically placed on the outside of the paper wrapping.
  • Move the printer to a better environment (temperature: 23º C/73º F and humidity: 60%R.H.), if possible.
  • If performing the above procedures does not eliminate the issue, contact HP.
