Description

Printed paper is creased.

Most likely causes

Printing on thin paper under high temperature and high humidity environment.
Printing on paper which is left for long time at high temperature and high humidity environment.
The issue is due to the curling or waving of the paper when the paper goes into the fixing unit.

Troubleshooting and suggestions

Use fresh unpacked paper.
Use 75g/m² or heavier paper. Paper weight is specified in the ream label, which is typically placed on the outside of the paper wrapping.
Move the printer to a better environment (temperature: 23º C/73º F and humidity: 60%R.H.), if possible.
If performing the above procedures does not eliminate the issue, contact HP.
