The Compaq Master ASE - Enterprise Storage [1999] credential has transitioned to a newer version, and no new candidates were accepted after 1 February 2003. The newest version of the credential is

HP Certified Professionals who hold the inactive Compaq Master ASE - Enterprise Storage [1999] credential will continue to be recognized as HP Certified Professionals with no impact to program benefits at this time. However, the technologies advanced considerably with the introduction of the most current version, and professionals certified in this technology are encouraged to upgrade to this newest credential. An upgrade path is provided below.
