HP Revamps Recertification Process to Encourage HP Certified Professional Readiness
Hewlett-Packard (HP) announced an enhanced global recertification process that enables its HP Certified Professionals to keep current with the skills and knowledge needed to respond to marketplace, technology, product and service-offer changes.
The enhanced recertification program is part of the overall upgrade of HP's Certified Professional Program, which supplies a strong professional development framework that builds and validates industry-valued competencies.
On an annual basis, HP Certified Professionals will be required to complete a series of training activities that will enable them to accumulate the specific points needed for certification. The options available for the HP Certified Professional to select will be numerous, providing each IT professional the opportunity to choose the technical topic which best suits her/his needs.
HP facilitates the process by which HP Certified Professionals attain the required number of CEU points needed to retain their active certification status and HP Certified Professional benefits. The enhanced recertification process provides great flexibility in scheduling training events.
