HP Certified Professional Worldwide

There are seven simple steps to become an HP Certified Professional:

1. Choose your certification
   The HP Certified Professional Program is structured in:
   • Focus areas/job roles (e.g Sales, Pre-sales
   • Levels of skills and knowledge (e.g. Professional, Consultant, Systems Engineer level)
   • Technology families (e.g Imaging and Printing, ProLiant, Storage solutions)
   First of all evaluate which certification you wish to achieve - You will need to consider your job role and product/technology focus in addition to the desired level of skill. To help with your choice, go to the left hand side navigation bar and select “;Search for certifications”.
   
   
2. Register
   If you do not yet have an HP Student ID please click here to register.
   
   If you already have an HP Student ID please access the HP student portal, go to "register for certification" and select the certification you want to obtain.
   
   
3. Complete prerequisites
   Review and, if required, complete the required prerequisites for your planned certification.
   
   
4. Provide HP with proof of prerequisite completion
   If the certification you have chosen requires a 3rd party operating system or other vendor credential you will need to ensure that this is provided to HP. Please send a scanned copy of your third party certification to certificationandeducation.emeasupport@hp.com. Do not forget to mention your full name and HP student ID.
   
   The proof document will need to mention the date on which you have achieved it. For a Microsoft proof document you can, for example, download your personal transcript.
   
   
5. Review the available training courses
   Training attendance is strongly recommended but not mandatory. Review the training courses available to help you prepare for HP Certified Professional exams.
   
   
6. Complete the required exams
   Pass the required HP Certified Professional exam(s) either at an Authorized Prometric Testing Center (exams HP0-xxx) or online (web-based), at your office or even at home (exams HP2-xxx).
   
   For exam information and registration please go to the left hand side navigation bar and select "Exams".
   
   
7. Certified!
   If you have successfully passed all exams required for certification, you will receive a certificate within 4-6 weeks upon completion of the certification track.
   
   All new certification holders will receive a personal welcome e-mail that will provide you with a link where you can download your certificate. For all higher level of certifications obtained in our certification program a hard-copy welcome kit will be shipped to the mailing address you have provided. Please ensure that you keep your mailing address details up to date. This can be done on the HP Student Portal by simply logging in and editing your details in the "personal data" section.
   
   Please note that you will NOT receive your welcome kit (with your certificate) if your address details are not correct, so please keep your personal profile up to date!
   
   Once the kit leaves our fulfillment house you will receive an electronic shipment advisory notifying you about the average delivery time and the ship to address.
   
   The shipment date of your personal welcome kit (including your certificate) is also stored on the HP Student Portal (Select the "curriculum" section, then select "Fulfilment").
