Content starts here The following information shows all certifications that are in transition to become inactive or have already been set to the credential status inactive or have been set to expiring or expired.

The term Transitional refers to a credential that is still recognized by the HP Certified Professional Program but will no longer be attainable to new candidates as of a specific date in the future. The program might also offer you a credential upgrade path to achieve an active credential reflecting the most up to date skills and technology.

The term Inactive refers to a credential that is still recognized by the HP Certified Professional Program but no longer attainable to new candidates. The credential is still considered as valid but HP strongly recommends that candidates upgrade to an active credential in the given technology.

The term Expiring means that this credential is still recognized in the HP Certified Professional Program but will soon no longer be recognized due to significant technology changes. You are encouraged to upgrade immediately to the suggested new credential.

The term Expired means that this credential is no longer considered part of the HP Certified Professional Program because it has either been replaced by another credential or the technology is so outdated that it can no longer be considered valid to HP. If you only hold an "expired" credential and no other valid credentials, you will no longer be considered part of the HP Certified Professional Program.
