| The steps to certification are generically the same, but the availability of exams, training, training formats and the application process may differ by country or geography. Step 1: After selecting your country/geography Web site, review the available tracks and levels and choose an appropriate destination for you.
Step 2: Obtain a student ID: An HP student ID is a personal ID number assigned as your secured entry point into HP training and certification.

Step 3: Review and complete the required prerequisites.
Step 4: Review the training courses available to help you prepare for HP Certified Professional exams.
Step 5: Attend appropriate training classes (training is not required for certification but is highly recommended).
Step 6: Complete required exams at an HP approved testing center (Locations are varied by locations).

Step 7: Complete pre-requisites (if any): Review and complete the required prerequisites for the certification you are seeking. Fax, post or digitally-send any third party certificates or exams to the program office indicated below. Please include your student ID on all correspondences.
Step 8: Completion of agreement to Terms and Conditions and Confidential Disclosure Agreement.
