Certified system administrator

This level of certification measures the competencies required for hands-on installation, configuration, and the administration and support of HP operating systems in networked environments. The ideal candidate is anyone who deploys or manages HP operating systems.

The following Certified System Administrator Certifications are available:

Active - The most up-to-date credential in a specific technology. It may be obtained by a candidate at any time.

Transitional - A credential that is still recognized by the program but will no longer be attainable as of a specific date in the future. This credential may have a more up-to-date or "superseding" credential considered to be Active. Details can be viewed by clicking the link for the Transitional credential.

Inactive - A credential that is still recognized as part of the program, but which is no longer attainable by a new candidate. This credential is valid toward benefits in the HP Certified Professional Program. Any HP Certified Professional holding a credential with this status is strongly encouraged to upgrade to an Active credential.

Expired - A credential that is no longer recognized by the program. The technology has changed to the degree that the HP Certified Professional Program has determined it should no longer maintain the credential.
