Recently a color ink mix issue was discovered in a small portion of select HP inkjet tri-color cartridges. This manufacturing flaw impacted a small portion of the HP 75 and 93 numbered cartridges and has since been corrected.
The color ink mix issue does not impact print quality; customers who purchased a potentially affected cartridge will receive the same vibrant, long-lasting prints they expect from HP. However, a small number of purchasers may receive fewer total pages than the stated yield.
HP is offering a rebate to customers who purchased a potentially affected cartridge or a printer containing a potentially impacted cartridge in Canada during the relevant time period. Customers who purchased HP 75 or 93 numbered ink cartridges or a Deskjet D4360, Photosmart C4580 or Photosmart C4480 All-in-One printer between June 1, 2009 and November 30, 2009 may be eligible for a rebate from HP if submitted prior to February 15, 2010. |
