HP recommends Windows.
Some things move us in ways we cannot
describe. Dare to be different with HP’s first
multi-surface glass ultrabook featuring
amazingly light, scratch-resistant glass. Push
the boundaries with a PC that
turns on in
seconds. Break the rules with up to 9 hours of
battery life.1 The HP ENVY14 Spectre
is
designed for those who expect the extraordinary.
1. Battery life will vary depending on the product model, configuration, loaded applications, features, use, wireless functionality and power management settings. The maximum capacity of the battery will naturally decrease with time and usage. See MobileMark07 battery benchmark at bapco.com /products/mobilemark2007 for additional details.
2. Internet access required. First 2 years included; subscription required for live updates afterwards. Based on Passmark Report www.norton.com/passmark2012 and AV-Test GmbH www.norton.com/avtest2012.
3. High definition (HD) content is required to view high-definition images.
4. For hard drives, GB = 1 billion bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less. Up to 24GB of hard drive is reserved for system recovery software.
5. Dual-core/triple-core/quad-core/six-core is a new technology designed to improve performance of certain software products. Not all customers or software applications will necessarily benefit from use of this technology.
6. Wireless broadband use requires separately purchased service contract. Check with service provider for coverage and availability in your area. Bluetooth is a trademark owned by its proprietor and use by Hewlett-Packard Company under license.
7. Microsoft and Windows are registered trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. This system may require upgraded and/or separately purchased hardware and/or a DVD drive to install the Windows® 7 software and take full advantage of Windows® 7 functionality. See microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/ for details.
