The solution is HP Tune-up for PC service, which is sold on a per-incident basis. It keeps you current with security and software updates and helps make sure your machine is running optimally.
Here's how it works: an HP expert technician helps you do a comprehensive set of PC diagnostics and tune-up steps, helping to ensure that your PC is clean, virus-free, and performing well. The HP technician will teach you how to perform these tune-ups so you can keep your HP PC up-to-date in the future.

Service eligibility and limitations

Available only to customers using PC products at home or in a home office or small business environment. Must be using HP or Compaq brand PC running Windows 98, Me, XP, or XP Pro or XP Media Center or Vista. Support limited to assistance with PC performance and problem prevention; does not include break/fix troubleshooting, "how-to" support on third-party software or hardware, repair diagnosis. Single-use HP Care Pack service available up to one year after Care Pack purchased. Nontransferable; expires if not used within year of purchase date.
