HP Web Jetadmin 8.1 is the last release prior to the Spring 2007 release of HP Web Jetadmin 10.0. This information and software downloads page is being maintained to provide support for HP Web Jetadmin 8.1 during customer evaluation of HP Web Jetadmin 10.1. HP Web Jetadmin 10.1 software and documentation can be found at HP Drivers and Software downloads for HP Web Jetadmin or by following this link: http://www.hp.com/go/webjetadmin.

In order to install any of the following components, you must be running
HP Web Jetadmin 8.1

The following components are available for HP Web Jetadmin running on
Fedora Linux or SUSE Linux. These components provide
additional functionality for HP Web Jetadmin in a multi-OS
environment and additional language support, as explained by
clicking on the (more info) links below.
HP Web Jetadmin offers
an intelligent Product Update feature that can be used to
automatically download and install these components (with the
exception of service patch). HP Web Jetadmin must have access
(from the server it is installed on, either directly or via
proxy) to the Internet in order to perform this automated
function. (For this automated process, these components do not
have to be manually downloaded from this page. Just run HP Web Jetadmin, select Product
Update from the pull-down menu under Navigation and then click
on Install to start the automated process.)
If HP Web Jetadmin does
not have access to the Internet, these components can be
manually downloaded and then installed by following this
procedure:
After downloading the desired component(s), use the
intelligent Product Update feature in HP Web Jetadmin to manually
install each component. Follow these steps once HP Web Jetadmin is launched:
1. Select Product Update from the pull-down menu under Navigation
2. Click on Install
3. Use the Browse function on this page to locate the downloaded component
4. Click on Upload to add the component to the list of available updates
Repeat Steps 3 and 4 if more than one component was downloaded.
5. Select the components to install
6. Click on Next to begin the installation process |
