Looking for the latest print driver to improve your printer's print quality and efficiency? HP has just made it easier to determine if your system has the correct driver and enable you to install the latest driver in one click.
The HP Printer Check tool is a web-based diagnostic that enables you to simply determine whether you are using the right and most current driver for your commercial HP printer. Now, instead of searching and testing drivers to find the one you need, you can quickly assess your system and find the right driver the first time.
By running the HP Printer Check tool from the HP Business Support Center (BSC) website, you are presented with a list of printers currently installed on your computer. Simply select the HP printer that you would like to check and the HP Printer Check tool gathers technical data about your printer, drivers, and system setup. The data gathered is used for diagnosing your software driver configuration and for checking your printer driver update needs.
The tool will then either verify if you are already using the latest driver and let you know if there is an updated driver version available for your printer model, or inform you if you are using an incorrect driver for your HP printer. If there is an update available, the HP Printer Check tool enables you to download and install the latest driver version with just one click.
To access the HP Printer Check tool, access http://www.hp.com/go/drivercheck or go to the HP Business Support Center (BSC), and select the "self help resources" link on the left Navigation Bar. Then choose "automatic driver checker" to begin using the HP Printer Check tool.
The diagnostic tool guides you through the assessment through an intuitive user interface. The data gathered by The HP Printer Check tool is stored anonymously for analysis and continuous improvement of our diagnostic tools. No private or personal data is needed or accessed on your computer.
