This year both the HP Business Support Center (BSC) and the HP IT Resource Center (ITRC) support websites were selected as two of the 2004 "Ten Best Web Support Sites" by the Association of Support Professionals (ASP). This prestigious award showcases excellence in online service and support.
The award winners were selected by a panel of judges based on 25 different criteria including:
- Overall usability, design, and navigation
- Knowledgebase and search implementation
- Interactive features
- Major site development challenge
"The Web continues to grow as an important and popular medium for
delivering customer support," ASP executive director Jeffrey Tarter notes.
"Web support is no longer just a way to save on the cost of answering the
phone--it's now recognized as the gateway to a much richer choice of
support-related services than customers can get from a live agent."
Other 2004 winners include (in alphabetical order) - Apple Computer, Cognos, Interwoven, Iomega, National Instruments, Research Machines, and Xilinx.
